Introducing // Parched London

Known locally for their pubs The White Horse and The Montpelier, we’re super excited for the guys from Parched London to bring their dedication and vision in creating much loved local hangouts to Peckham Levels.

Parched London have been operating pubs, bars and restaurants across South London for more than a decade and are delighted to be taking on our event space.

Parched is made up of five friends, Isaac Tooby, Shane Ranasinghe, Neil Watson, Michael Robinson and Russell Porter, although their new project will be headed up by Isaac, Neil and Russell.

Drawing from twenty years’ experience, Isaac and Neil will work closely with head chef Joseph Ryan (Franks, Salon, Hoi Polloi) on the daytime food venue, whilst Russell, a former producer on the Mercury Prize, will handle the programming for the night time music venue.

The event space will be home to two separate businesses with indelible links. During the day they'll be serving healthy and affordable vegetarian food whilst offering the community an informal hub where they can eat, meet and work together.

The space will rotate every evening, turning into a mid-size music venue with impeccable production values. The venue will host live music during the week and parties throughout the weekend, welcoming world class talent to Peckham Levels.

What do the guys have to say about their future project?

“Having all lived in the neighbourhood for a decade or more, we’re really excited to see Peckham Levels coming to fruition, and are absolutely over the moon to be playing such a central role. It’s long been a dream of ours to combine our passions of hospitality and music with a specific venue, and couldn’t think of a better place to turn that dream into reality than right in the middle of Rye Lane."

Make sure you’re signed up to our newsletter and following our social channels as we’ll be releasing the two projects over the next few weeks!!
